Update! Grand Finale Sponsor for the 2008 Hot Rod Power Tour!

 

The 2008 Hot Rod Magazine Power Tour® will start out from Little Rock, Arkansas at the Arkansas State Fairgrounds on Saturday June 7th, the site of last year’s Finale, and continue through five states before landing at the tour’s final destination in Madison, Wisconsin on Friday, June 13th at the Alliant Energy Center.  The event is open to the public free of charge to attend, while participants in the tour are charged a nominal fee. Like last year, Cherry Bomb® is the official Hot Rod Magazine Power Tour “Cruise Night” Grand Finale sponsor in Madison, WI.  A leading manufacturer of high performance exhaust products, Cherry Bomb is capping off the week-long tour with lots of giveaways including a chance to win a Dodge Charger project vehicle. This year marks the company’s 40th anniversary and to celebrate, Cherry Bomb has announced the Cherry Bomb Charger Sweepstakes. Lasting throughout the year, the Cherry Bomb sweepstakes will give one person the chance to win the official Cherry Bomb project car, valued at $35,000. The distinctive car features a custom Cherry Bomb exhaust and multiple Mopar Performance upgrades. Entry forms will be available at the booth for this grand prize and other prizes like a custom Cherry Bomb exhaust system, or $350 worth of gear. Entry is also available online at cherrybomb.com beginning Friday, June 6, 2008.  Courtney Hanson will present the car to the final winner on Powerblock TV.  

In addition, Cherry Bomb is proud to host Stacey David on the final leg of the tour. Everyone is invited to meet Stacey David, host and producer of Stacey David’s GearZ™ TV (SPEED network), at the Cherry Bomb booth. Stacey can field your most complicated tech question or give you advice on your current projects. And like last year, Cherry Bomb has planned a delicious meal and some great sounding southern rock entertainment especially for the Long Haulers at Alliant Energy Center’s Exhibition Hall – A, from 2-4 p.m. Throughout the tour, Cherry Bomb will be on the lookout for the coolest rides to be featured in their 2009 Disturbing the Peace Calendar that will be photographed by a professional photographer at the Alliant Center. Winners will be announced in Rochester, MN prior to arriving in Madison.
